happy valentine's day!

After much internal cost-benefit analysis (2 papers, 1 long homework, 1 presentation due this coming week; and I just had 4 hours sleep the previous night doing another homework due this morning), decided on joining friends for a couple of hours today at Henley Beach, 30 minutes by bus from Grenfell Street, Adelaide.





Here's the equation:
1 hour travel time + 30 minutes waiting for everyone to arrive at the designated meet-up place + 30 minutes total waiting time for the bus to arrive +3 hours away from reading/studying + high probability of wearing 1-week old jeans this week after postponing doing laundry(cost) < 5 hours of fine white sand + marvellous weather after sizzling mid-40s temperatures for several days + gorgeous sunset view + relaxing time with friends (benefit)



Possibly best place to watch the setting sun is at the Bacchus Bar with a sparkling white wine in hand. And do please try their rocket salad.
